This morning a reminder popped up on my phone, it said “you need to pack”, I don’t need to pack, so although I’m sad about not going on holiday, I’m also feeling like a weight has been lifted because I suck at packing.
The only time I ever got it right was when I went to Cote d’Ivoire because Ma helped. To highlight how useless I am, on the return trip, I left all of my trousers (5 pairs) in Africa! I was only saved because Jo came over that week, bringing them back! Then I started thinking about that holiday and I found this photo taken by Lazare, of Jo and me at the market.

Reading this has got me all excited 3 weeks and counting until I hit NY NY … hooray!!
I’m an annoyingly good packer, albeit I leave everything until the last minute. I’ve got the hang of capsule wardrobes with the amount of travel I do and the luggage weight restrictions on some airlines.
I’m trying really hard not to be jealous, but I do hope you have a lovely time! I know I’ll get the holiday but not until March and March in DC could be a bit chilly.
If you weren’t an expert packer with all the travel you do, I’d be amazed. In fact could you do a packing top tips post before March? I really need all the help I can get!
