The Hall

Over the weekend I framed some things.

These are on the ledge as you come up the stairs into the flat.

The three frames contain cards, two were given to me and one I bought. All are alcohol related and it seemed that the best place to put them was with the medicine/poison bottles!

Above them are the pictures that Christelle and Mike bought me a couple of years ago

That’s actually hard to get to and Ryan put them up for me (no godchildren were harmed, Ryan’s has always been a bit mad..)

One more thing to do (a door for the cookery bookshelves) and I’m done with the hall. Nearly four years later and one ‘room’ in the house is done, yay!

Is your house exactly as you’d like it to be? Do you have more furniture to acquire/painting to do/pictures to hang to get it exactly how you want or is it exactly as you’d like?

Ahhhh, health and safety would have a field day!

The pictures look fab, especially liking the French advertising style ones.

I always view my house as a work in progress, if it’s not something inside that needs tackling, it’s the garden. It’s a bit like painting the Forth Bridge … just merrily going round in circles!

On the list are completing the office / chill out / guest room, created a mini wooded area at the end of the garden where it’s shady, re painting the front door, new radiator in the bathroom .. Etc, etc…!

They would! The reason that they are stepped as they are is because Ryan couldn’t get them straight and not fall over!

Sounds like you’ve got plans for your house! I wish I had a garden to work on though, a garden and an extra bedroom would make my flat perfect!
