Happy Friday.  Today is a lovely sunny day in London, it is chilly but that doesn’t matter when the sun is out!

Not many links this week, the 8.30pm computer cut off is really playing havoc with my ability find interesting stuff to read!

1) John Green on perspective. We all need the reminder.

2) The problem with care for the elderly and inheritance.

3) Review of the National Theatre’s 50th anniversary show. I caught it on iplayer and it was great. We are so lucky to have such great theatre.

4) Where to chill drinks before a party. At my 21st birthday party, Ma hid the champagne I was given in the washing machine because “no one looks there”, so this would put a dent in that habit!

5) Zoe Williams on energy supply and bills. I’ve had a much better understanding of how the electricity market works in the UK over the last 2 years and really, something needs to change.
