My weekend started on Friday afternoon with work team lunch and beers.

We then went on to a bar to play table football.

I watched and left the guys to it about 8pm, I was tired. I got home and pretty much went straight to bed!

I had a lot of stuff to do at home on Saturday! Some of it got done but a lot of it didn’t because the builder wanted to come and start work on replacing the bedroom window on Sunday. Erm, no that was not going to happen. I spent Saturday sorting out the bedroom to get the furniture out of it, making sure that all the food in the fridge was made into food that could be frozen, so mostly soup!

I also made sourdough because that was started before I knew I was spending the week at Ma’s! Most of that is in the freezer too although so of it came with me to Ma’s.

On Sunday, I finished packing, Ma came and picked me up, which I was very thankful for because it rained and rained and the bus with a side of carrying a suitcase and getting wet would have just sent me round the bend!

Ma and I did some shopping, I bought my brother a birthday present and a card and we had lunch. So pretty quiet, which is good.

This week is busy at work, I’m covering for someone at work and doing a different commute, should be interesting and hopefully Ma and I won’t kill each other because we’re going to be spending a lot of time together this week! I think I’ll be ok because I arrived with 2 weeks worth of Evening Standard’s and Ma is currently doing the crosswords and word puzzles, it’s like dealing with a toddler, just give her a crossword and she’s happy!
